This is newly renovated hotel Location is ok, somewhat walkable Room clean, towels, bedding clean Breakfast just ok Food ok It’s not a business hotel but kind of tourist hotel where tour operator bring tourist in bulk in a bus or so, group booking type things

We stayed there for two nights during our trip to Meghalaya on March 2021. The hotel and rooms are Ok , but they are old. They need to renovate the rooms. The only good thing is bathroom is clean and spacious. But the hot water is not coming in basin and only in tabs. The food taste is not so good. The breakfast buffet option is very limited. There are very less number of hotel staffs and so service is delayed most of the types. The only plus point is hotel location is good and walkable distance to Policebazar.

It is a very good hotel with nice hospitality. Rooms are specious and clean. Staffs are so cooperative. Only thing is quality of food need to improve. Location of the hotel is good. It is 5 minute walking distance from main market Police Bazar.

I booked two executive rooms + two extra bed with b/fast dinner and they charge us 5000 rupees per room per night for tripple sharing. we paid 100% payment advance when we check in to the hotel they allot very small room and metress bath rooms was very bad so small I request on the front office plz change the rooms but on the front office girls was very badly talking with me rude behaviour told we have allot the room we will not change. it's not good hotel for good family's on the receptionist very ridiculous persons. so if any one want book rooms in orchid annex hotel in shillong don't pay advance payments pay at hotel when you reach at hotel other wise you get cheating at over there we was two night at there we are not happy...

Maybe a great property in the past but its not even heritage now. I don't recommend it at all. old and rotten frames, washrooms, even carpets. will give you a feeling of guest house. Not great on service standards also, neither on location.
